Lakes Area Veterinary Hospital is an established 3 doctor practice that has been providing high quality service to the community of Jasper, TX for over 40 years. Jasper is located in East Texas between Houston and Tyler and right next to the largest lake in Texas

Practice type:  Mixed Animal

Hospital:  6000 SQ FT with 7 exam rooms, 2 Surgery suites, Large treatment and prep area, Radiology room, Indoor AC/heated kennels, Isolation room, Large waiting room, Large covered barn with squeeze chute for cattle and Equine center with 2 stocks and a padded recovery stall.

Equipment:  Heska Element HT5, Element DC and Element i; Idexx UA analyzer, Ultrasound, Digital X-ray, ISO and SEVO anesthesia, Electrocautery, Cryosurgery, Tonopen, IV pumps, Nasogastric scope and Computerized records.

Hours and Staff:  Hours are 8-5 Monday-Friday, Currently have 3 veterinarians, 1 office manager, 3 receptionists, 2 licensed veterinary technician, 6 veterinary assistants, and 2 kennel assistants.

Housing provided

 Plus 400.00 for 4th year students per week

 Or 250.00 for 1st -3rd year students per week
